The concrete headstone is weathered and difficult to read. The headstone was cleaned, rubbings made, and photos enhanced. It appears to read “Lucia Lurati” This would make sense as this is right next to her parent’s grave, which is right next to her husband’s grave. However, at a cemetery in Bandera Tx., there is a headstone that reads “Lucia Lurati Vda. de Garza Sept. 27, 1897 – Mayo 11,1972”.
